Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It's not too late. . . right?!

I do sincerely hope that you all have thoroughly enjoyed your time off.  I have to head back to work on Monday and let me tell you, I don't want to go!

I do love me a good Haiku.  They were always my poem of choice to write in school.  Either that or really terrible rhyming couplet ones.  Please see below for an example.  Jay-Z ain't got nothin' on me.

It's 2012 and I'm pumped to say,

This blogger's back and here to stay!

A very short break was all it took,

To have the time to read a book!

To clear my head, and sort it out,

the best year yet, without a doubt!

Clearly I should have become a writer. 

On that Biotin note, my nails have been breaking like mad!  I really did notice a huge difference while I was taking biotin, so I've started back on that regiment again. 

What else can I tell you. . . . I bought a new camera lens, it's not auto-focus so until I figure something out these are the types of pictures you can look forward to:

I got some new fancy kicks, I'll share them in a future post.  I finally found a man (or rather, he found me) who not only appreciates my love of shoes, but even supports it by buying me the most amazing pair of boots ever!  I've got to say, his shoe collection is pretty great too.  I don't have to worry about his trying to go out in a old beat up pair of Nike runners.

I am currently debating an online purchase.  I've been coveting a Deborah Lippmann nail polish for a while and I found a site that sells them as well as my HG base coat (CND Stickey) which I've been out of for a while.  I'll keep you posted on whether I purchase it or not!

I just realized that I missed a new Grey's Anatomy!!!! Ah!  It hasn't been on for so long I didn't even think to check until now.  I hope it was a good one!
